A series featuring the fastest women drivers from around the world in identical Panoz/Ford Esperante Race Cars. As it did in 1999, its successful debut season, the series will run as a support series to the American Le Mans series.

Television Coverage: All 1999 races were aired on Speedvision in six one-hour telecasts in the fourth quarter of the year. Speedvision reaches over 18 million households worldwide. The Radio Le Mans Web, which airs all of the American Le Mans Series races on its website, www.americanlemans.com, will provide live flag-to-flag radio coverage of Women's Global GT Series events as part of its race-weekend package.
