Sunny finished the race in 31st on the lead lap. This was a success for her as she met her goal which was to finish the race on the lead lap and bring the #91 Classic & Muscle Car Super Stores Ford home in one piece. Our game plan was to hang around in the back to stay out of trouble in case there was that "big wreck" so we would be there at the end to do our passing and get a good fiinish. Unfortunately the rain ended the race early. lots of good pictures to follow.

We Made the Show!!!!!!!!!!
Sunny
made the race! Sunny will start the race in 35th place. She got the first
provisional because she qualified 37th fastest. The #91 car finished 5th
in points last year allowing Sunny use of a provisional starting spot.
"I'm thrilled to be in the starting field for Sunday's race. It does
not matter to me that we had to use a provisional. I just want to get
my first ARCA race under my belt. With the aerodynamic package we have,
I should race a lot better than we qualified," Sunny said after qualifying.

The ARCA "happy hour" is Saturday afternoon after Winston Cup First Round Qualifying. The race starts at 11:00 a.m. Sunday. We have some more pictures to go up later today.

We want to thank Bartman Enterprises - Custom Embroidery for the great job they did. They custom embroideried Great hats, golf shirts and long sleeve t-shirts with the SHEracing logo. The shirts also had the sponsors embroidered on them. We will put up a picture soon.

Just finished last practice before Qualifying at 1:30 this afternoon,
Sunny's best time was 50.8 which was about 24th overall.there will probably be a link to all the times on the ARCA site as soon as practice ends at 10:55am. http://www.arcaracing.com

Unloaded the #91 Classic & Muscle Car SuperStores Ford
It is really cool here. Apparently it was warm and beautiful last week, but really cool now, in the high 50's and 60's today. Overcast and wind is really blowing.
Sunny, with other drivers, attended required Safety Meeting.
The #91 Classic & Muscle Car SuperStores Ford went through ARCA tech inspection. Jeff Lemons, Bryan Smith, Larry Jacobs and the rest of the crew worked hard all day to complete car preparation. We got most, but not all of the decals on the car. Thank you Lin O'Neil of Decals Unlimited!
On track today were IROC cars being tested and NASCAR Goody's Dash cars practicing.
Tommorow, Sunny attends rookie meeting at 7:00 am and we start practice tomorrow morning, then again in the afternoon.
