Sunny will be racing this weekend as a member of the PRG Racing Team in the 12 hour Devil in the Dark road racing event at New Jersey Motorsports Park. PRG Racing Team with drivers Jon Goodman, AJ Gillum, Sunny Hobbs and Alan Olson have chosen to promote & raise funds for Mini’s Mission, a charitable fundraising program for pediatric cancer, during SCCA’s grueling 12 hour race. SCCA Endurance Racing has a long history & can trace its roots back to the legendary classics such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Daytona 24 Hours, & 12 Hours of Sebring. AJ Gillum, Sunny Hobbs and Gideon Lenkey, teammates in the #163 Mazda Miata finished 2nd in the EMRA 4 hour twilight endurance race at Summit Point Raceway, a 2+ mile roadcourse.  The team used this event as a platform to promote awareness and raise funds for Mini’s Mission, Burning Rubber to Help Another, which raises money for children with cancer.  We had an exciting last few laps when we almost caught the first place car, but could not make up for one costly pit stop.
